Despite expectations, Sanheim wasn't traded during the summer. A NTC binds Sanheim and the team for the next 8 years.
In addition to his positive attitude, he's added muscle to the 2023-2024 Flyers and his coachability seems to be liked by John Tortorella.
According to John Tortorella, Sanheim has been doing the right things and was a top player during training camp.
Sanheim added a helper and some PIMS to his game last night against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Sanheim has proven to be a valuable asset to the team and is certainly on the right track.
