Another signing from the Philadelphia Flyers today as they sign Right-Winger Owen Tippett to a two-year contract with an average annual value (AAV) of $1.5M, according to President of Hockey Operations & General Manager, Chuck Fletcher.

The twenty-three-year-old Right-Winger produced seven points (4g-3a) in 21 games and averaged 15:12 of ice time per-game for the Flyers last season since joining the team at the trade deadline on Mar. 19. He was brought over in the Claude Giroux trade that sent Claude to Florida and Owen packing his bags to head over to the "City of Brotherly Love".
Tippett was taken in the first round (10th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft by Florida. He spent parts of five seasons in the Panthers organization where he recorded 14 goals and 19 assists for 33 points in 94 regular season games and four points (1g-3a) in six Stanley Cup Playoff games for Florida.
In the AHL, Tippett has recorded 60 points (26g-34a) in 63 regular season games with the Springfield Thunderbirds (2017-18, 2019-20) and Charlotte (2021-22).
