Training camps are underway and NHL teams are building their rosters for the 2022-23 season. We all know that there will still be trades, so we are examining which players from each of the four divisions could be moved.

CALGARY FLAMES
Oliver Kylington - The Flames have plenty of defensemen and are looking for a top-six forward after losing both Matthew Tkachuk and Johnny Gaudreau. Kylington had been in the top-four, but may be a third-pair blueliner this season. With Mackenzie Weegar added, his vulnerability of being traded just went up.
EDMONTON OILERS

Jesse Puljujarvi - The Oilers tried to trade him over the summer, but didn't like the offered returns. Well, the team is in a $7.6 million cap hole even with goalie Mike Smith's $2.2 million salary erased due to LTIR. Tyson Barrie or Warren Foegele could also be candidates. Puljujarvi will be an RFA next season with arbitration rights.
LOS ANGELES KINGS
Sean Walker - He only played six games last season before going down with an ACL/MCL injury that kept him sidelined the rest of the season. Can he come back from that? And, if he does will there be a spot for him with Jordan Spence and Brandt Clarke knocking on the door? He has a contract worth $2.65 million through 2023-24. He can also play on the left side if needed.
VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS
Phil Kessel - He is one player on the Vegas team whose contract expires after this season. If the Vegas team isn't coming up sevens by the trade deadline in March, Phil could be traded. It was the Arizona Coyotes intention to trade him, but he went to free agency instead. Or... will he retire?
VANCOUVER CANUCKS
Michael DiPietro - His agent has permission to speak to other teams, and it seems he could be moved. He got bypassed by Arturs Silovs whose development is progressing much better than DiPietro's. The Canucks also have Collin Delia waiting in the lurks. Could the Arizona Coyotes be interested in DiPietro? They really don't have a backup to Karel Vejmelka.
SAN JOSE SHARKS
Nick Bonino - He tends to be a good addition for a playoff contender. He can play center, can score, and play defense. He is also a player with postseason experience. He is 34 years old, but can certainly help a team if added by the deadline.
ANAHEIM DUCKS
John Klingberg - Unless the rebuilding Ducks surprise experts, Klingberg will seek that long-term deal that evaded him in Dallas. If the Ducks do try to move him, a 2023 first rounder would be very enticing. Some team will want his offensive prowess (47 points in 74 games) and 22 plus minutes of ice time to get them advanced in the playoffs.
SEATTLE KRAKEN
Joonas Donskoi - He only tallied two goals with 20 assists in 75 games. That was a career low. Still, he could be a player who is an UFA with a hefty $3.9 million cap hit that could be moved at the deadline. He could be used in a supporting role for a team in the playoffs. He just needs to bounce back from a dismal season.
That concludes this segment of our series on players who could be traded. We hope you enjoyed reading!
