With only five games left for the Chicago Blackhawks before the NHL trade deadline on March 3rd, it appears as though Patrick Kane's time in Chicagois drawing to a close. The worsegets worst in Chicago.

Kane said, "You'll probably cherish these five games a little more before the deadline just not knowing what's going to happen.... It's always exciting playing at home, always love playing at the United Center in front of the crowd here."

Since we've known this for over a year, Kane is the one who decides if and where he wants to be traded as he has a no-movement clause that can only be waived by himself. In response to information regarding Patrick Kane's discussions with his agent Pat Brisson, who are reportedly now considering contending teams as a match for #88, Mark Lazerus, the main Chicago Blackhawks reporter for the Athletic, has spoken out.
Patrick Kane'stop bidders are the Dallas Stars and New York Rangers; Kane has been linked with the Rangers ever since Artemi Panarin moved to New York City. The Blackhawks were unable to pay "the bread man," so they dealt him away, who had a tight relationship with his former colleague Kane.
Kane's current deal is worth $10.5 million, but it expires after this year's NHL playoffs. The Blackhawks will undoubtedly need to take offat least 50% of their cap space in order to accommodate Kane's desire to join a Stanley Cup contender.
