Penguins fans are absolutely furious with GM Ron Hextall

Pittsburgh Penguins GM Ron Hextall has his hands full since the start of the offseason. Both Kristopher Letang and Evgeni Malkin needed a new contract. In the case of the former, he signed 36.6M$ - for 6 years - contract last week. However, the story is absolutely not the same for Malkin.

According to Darren Dreger, the star center has decided to test the open market, beginning tomorrow. He's clearly frustrated and it's totally normal for him to show it. He gave everything to this organization.

The reason why Malkin didn't signed (yet?) a new contract with the Penguins is due to term.

We'll see where things will go, but it's clearly a story that we will have to follow very closely.
