With the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs in full effect its some exciting hockey for the team's involved.
Unfortunately for the other 16 teams including the Philadelphia Flyers they will have to focus on next season. However, not only are the Stanley Cup Playoffs taking place the World Hockey Championships are set to begin also.
Hockey Canada reached out to invite Philadelphia Flyers forward Owen Tippet to represent Canada, but according to Flyers Insider Jamie Baskow:
"Tippet declined the offer electing to rest his body and rest for next season.

Tippet was dealing with a minor lower body injury he was playing with to finish the year in Philadelphia.
Tippet was acquired from the Florida Panthers in the Claude Giroux trade last season, had the best season of his young career scoring 27 goals for the Flyers this season.
