Philadelphia Flyers Star Forward Makes a Huge Announcement
Flyers forward Owen Tippett has been settling into his role with the team this season. Since coming over in a trade for fan favorite and superstar Claude Giroux, he has found himself in a top-six position.
Tippett broke the news today that he has become engaged to his girlfriend, Taylor, during the All-Star break.
After being drafted 10th overall in the first round of the 2017 entry draft, the 23-year-old right winger has played 46 games, scored 14 goals, and added 14 assists for 28 points. The Flyers traded him to them along with a first-round draft pick in 2024, a third-round selection in 2023 for Claude Giroux, Connor Bunnaman, and German Rubtsov, and a fifth-round choice in 2024.

Tippett is currently on a two-year $3 million deal and will become an RFA in 2024-2025. The Flyers management has high hopes for this young player and expects him to become a significant force as the team continues to improve over the coming years.
