When most people think of the Pittsburgh Penguins most would say they think of, Sidney Crosby, Kris Letang, and Evgeni Malkin.
The trio has been together since they all joined the NHL and all have stay in Pittsburgh. With the trio holding alot of franchise records.
However, during Thursday's game between the Penguins and New York Islanders Evgeni Malkin would set a franchise record that would surprise most of the hockey world as the new all time plenty leader.
Evgeni Malkin took an interference minor against Islanders forward Pierre Engvall and sets a new franchise record for career penalty minutes (1,050).
Kevin Stevens is now second with 1,048.
