The Tampa Bay Lightning were in the big Apple Thursday night to Face off against the Rangers. The Lightning have been criticized by many for pushing the limits as humanly possible.

We all remember how the Lightning exploited salary cap loopholes to have a advantage over their opposition and Lightning Coach Jon Cooper is notorious for playing mind games with the media and officials if it will help his team.
However tonight was crazy as Lightning forward Brandon Hagel made an attempt to score the most controversial you'll probably ever see in your life. As Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin had the puck in his pads trying to freeze the play dead, Hagel reaches down and picks up the puck and throws back into play.
The puck then bounced off a skate of a Rangers player and past Igor Shesterkin into the Rangers net.
Hagel would thought he got away with his sneaky play as the official would initially rule it a good goal, but after review they reversed the call which was the right call on the play but can't blame Hagle for trying.
