Provorov crossed a large milestone last night!
Ivan Provorov, who was selected 7th overall in the 2015 NHL draft has moved into fourth place for most goals by a defenseman in Flyers history. He's now tied with Shane Gostisbehere scoring 60 goals.
Provorov only needs seven more goals to tie 3rd place Tom Bladon's total of 67. In tonight's 5-2 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets, Provorov had (1G, 1A 4 SOG 25:49 TOI). He has certainly found his trust with Torts and will continue to remain a fixture on the Top four pairings.
Maybe this will be the season he will move into the top three.
