REPORT - Flames Assistant General Manager Hospitalized and on Ventilator

The Calgary Flames general manager, Chris Snow, has been hospitalized as he fights ALS, according to breaking news that has shocked the NHL world today.

Chris's wife, Katie, just announced on her Twitter account that he is now fighting for his life.
Yesterday Chris was admitted to hospital. He was doing great when kids & I left at 8 pm. Overnight he took a turn for the worse and had to be put on a ventilator. Now we wait to see if he will get better. We are very sad and very scared. Hug your people. Life is so tenuous.

Snow has spent a lot of time in the NHL, but three years ago he learned that he only had a year to live. Despite the grim prognosis, Snow has overcame�the odds and is still with us today.
Snow, who is 41 years old, has been a part of the Flames organization since at least 2010.
