The 6th overall pick in the 2008 NHL Draft, Nikita Filatov, has been accused for match-fixing while serving as an assistant in the MHL and VHL Russian developmental leagues.
Filatov did not have the storied career that GMs had hoped for, as he played just 53 games in the NHL with the Blue Jackets and Senators.
Most of his time in the states from 2008-2012 were served in the AHL.
According to Championat.com, there is not much information released about this, so we do not know if this was during his time as a player or a coach.
Filatov left the US permanently in 2012 to go play professionally in Russia after his strained relationship with management could not be fixed.
