Tkachuk seems to be one of those guys who 31 NHL clubs and fan bases do not like; but, the 32nd franchise that has Tkachuk on their team adores his style of play and his ability to get under everyone's skin.

The Panthers are currently tied for 18th place in the NHL standings, which places them in the same position as teams like the Blackhawks and the Montreal Canadiens, in addition to the Buffalo Sabres, New York Islanders, and many other teams that are currently ahead of them on the leaderboards. However, it should be noted that it is still early in the season, so this analysis should not be taken too seriously.
Tkachuk moved from the Battle of Alberta between the Flames and the Oilers to the Battle of Florida between the Panthers and the Lightning in a short amount of time. Tkachuk has been officially punished by the NHL player safety committee after getting himself into some trouble outside of the context of the rivalries that he competes in.
The play is really difficult to make out, but this is the only video of the game that has come to light thus far. Tkachuk intentionally put his stick through Jonathan Quick's cage on Saturday, which caused a disturbance in the game that was being played against the Los Angeles Kings.
