REPORT - Two NHL Insiders Believe This Flyers Defensemen is on The Move

A recipient of the most improved player on the team award, a leader in the making and a guy who has shown he can be counted on when called upon. That is what the Flyers organization has with Defenseman Travis Sanheim. Rumors have started to swirl that Sanheim could be on the move this season as his value is continuing to grow. What team wouldn't want a player of his caliber right now?
The offseason that was just dealt was one of the worst to date and if consideration of trading away an essential part of the future is valid, well then i have officially ran out of excuses for a poorly ran management team. The true talks are that Sanheim is working on a deal to resign with the team, the Flyers want him here and he clearly wants to be here- moving him is just not an option. Losing Ellis once again for what looks like forever and signing Risto to a new contract, it just makes absolutely no sense. Nice try Friedman and Marek (I say that with all the respect in the world)
Why would the Flyers re-sign Rasmus Ristolainen for 5 years, but elect to trade Travis Sanheim?
The Flyers want to re-sign Travis, and from what I've heard Travis wants to re-sign in Philly.

Last season we witness a leader emerge in Travis Sanheim, a player i was down on for a long time- he has proven me wrong. The fact is, the Flyers need him here more then he needs to be here. Sanheim Stays.
