The Flyers season is less than two months away and there are still a ton of question marks surrounding this team. How will new coach John Tortorella do? Will there be a new captain? Has there been enough work put in to become a contender? The fanbase sure has their opinion and rightfully so.

Let's break down the first few games of October's schedule, shall we?
October 13th VS New Jersey Devils
Must read on FlyersInsider
Big dreams were said for the NJ Devils in the 2021-2022 season but the fell to 7th place in the Metropolitan Division. A core of young player like Hughes and more. Also, big Additions like Ondrej Palat and goaltender Vitek Vanicek will help them get there. Although, the Eager Flyers fan will be in attendance, I have this as a Flyers win.
1-0-0-0 Flyers
October 15th VS. Vancouver Canucks
The hiring of Bruce Boudreau was the biggest thing last season. After his signing, Canucks went on to have a record of 35-15-10. The Canucks have a very strong core Horvat, Hughes and some additional players. The Vancouver Canucks also scored big with winning the Andrei Kuzmenko sweepstakes. They bolstered their roster the best they could. Flyers go down in this one in a shootout loss.
1-0-0-1
October 18th @ Tamp Bay Lightning
Pftttt- I don't see how they can even keep up. Flyers go down
1-1-0-1

The next few games are at Florida Panthers, Nashville Predators and then they welcome home Oskar Lindblom. Does not look good.
After those games- I have the Flyers losing to Florida and Nashville and winning to San Jose for a record of 2-3-0-1. Then for the final two games, Florida and Carolina come to town. Does not look good.

When all is said of the month of October. I have the Flyers at 2-5-0-1.
Where do you have them?
