It's safe to say that at TD garden, nobody is safe. Not the players, not the fans, not the staff and especially not referees.
During NHL games, referees take a lot of heat. From getting booed, to getting berated by coaches and players, they deal with a lot of mental strain. These emotions and stressors are only amplified during playoffs time.
This is why during commercial break, a time for everyone to reset, getting tripped by the Bruins snow removal team was the last thing linesman Jonny Murray wanted.
This time, as Murray was skating away from his fellow linesman, he ran right into an ice cold bucket of snow which immediately sent both men to the ground. The fall was hard and fast and just a reminder that during the playoffs, nobody is safe.
