Report: New Details Emerge Regarding Ivan Provorov
The Flyers have found themselves in a PR nightmare over the last 48 hours after Ivan Provorov decided to skip warmups after refusing to wear the pride jersey for the Pride Celebration Game. Most of the criticism and backlash from the media follows Coach Tortorella's comments of support for Provorov.
Earlier today, Tortorella elaborated on his comments and provided further clarification about the entire incident. Coach Tortorella stated that Provorov had conversations with Scott Laughton about his decision to not take part in the pride night festivities. Tortorella also went on to state that the hockey operations department was also made aware of the situation.
