Oskars Bartulis may not be familiar to everyone, as he had a very brief NHL career during the 2010s. The 36-year-old defenseman, standing at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 207 pounds, was drafted by the Flyers in 2005, in the third round, 91st overall.

According to Eliteprospects.com, he is a versatile defenseman with excellent stickhandling skills. He also possesses a strong ability to read the game and a fantastic slapshot.
Although he spent most of his hockey career in Europe and Russia, from 2009 to 2012, he played for the Flyers. His best season consisted of 53 games, during which he scored one goal, provided eight assists, earned nine points, and accumulated 28 penalty minutes.
It was announced today that he has signed with HC Porto, a hockey team located in Spain.

With his NHL experience gained while playing for the Flyers and the Phantoms at the time, one can hope that he can contribute to the development of this team and improve their overall performance.
