We already know that Connor Bedard is really good at hockey. His speed, sniper, and puck handling skills are all some of the best, if not the best, in the draft class. He was slated to be the #1 draft pick for a long time until Adam Fantilli got off to a fantastic start at the University of Michigan. Fanilli overtook Bedard in an expert's rankings one week and the two have been battling for the top spot ever since. Bedard has the better skills, in my opinion, but Fantilli is the more NHL ready player, which is a big reason he jumped over Bedard in the rankings. 10 seconds into the Regina Pats' game the other night, Connor Bedard scored a highlight reel goal that shows why he deserves the top spot.

This was a beautiful goal, and whoever gets Bedard next summer is going to have a very promising young player.
