After numerous rumors and speculation, the Edmonton Oilers have officially announced that they are not pursuing a trade for Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Carter Hart.

Over the past two days, social media has been flooded with false reports regarding the Oilers' interest in the young netminder.
General Manager Ken Holland has clarified the team's stance, stating that he is confident in Jack Campbell's ability to rebound in the second year of his contract. Holland believes it is unfair to judge a player based solely on their first season with a new team.
Plenty of false reports surfacing on here throughout the past two days:

Ken Holland made it VERY clear that he is excited for Jack Campbell to bounce back in «year 2» of his contract, and believes you cannot judge a signing after its first season.

The Oilers are NOT in the goaltending market.

As a result, the Oilers have made it clear that they are not actively seeking to acquire a goaltender at this time.
