Since the end of his season with the University of Minnesota, Ben Meyers was very popular among some NHL teams.

The Philadelphia Flyers were one of the front runners in this case, but unfortunately, the 23-year-old forward decided to sign his entry-level contract with the Colorado Avalanche. It's a 2-year deal who goes through the 2022-23 season.


Meyers, who registered 41 points in 34 games this season, was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award. He also played with Team USA during the last Olympics in Beijing.
