The Colorado Avalanche Knock The Lightning Off Their Throne

To what some people believe was impossible, the Colorado Avalanche have defeated the two time defending Stanley Cup Champions Tampa Bay Lightning.

After the Lightning forced a Game 6 winning 3-2 Friday night, the Avalanche would come to Tampa and defeat the Lightning 2-1 with Artturi Lehkonen scoring the Stanley Cup winning goal.

The Colorado Avalanche are also just the fourth team in NHL history to win all four of their series on the road.
