The Edmonton Oilers make another big move re-signing one of their young players in Kailer Yamamoto. The new deal is a two year contract with a $3.1 million dollar annual salary.
The 23 year-old had 20 goals, and 21assists, in 81 games. Oilers General Manager Kent Holland re-signed Jesse Puljujarvi to a one-year, $3 million deal last week.
Yamamoto will be an RFA with arbitration rights after the 2023-2024 season. The Oilers have also been rumoured to be trying to sign free agent Phil Kessel as well.
