Despite obvious interest from multiple teams, the Philadelphia Flyers don't intend to trade Morgan Frost, according to the team.
Despite Charlie O'Connor's report that Frost wasn't Tortorella's guy, Frost did what he could to work his way back into the lineup. As the Flyers continued to win, it made sense to keep Frost out of the lineup.
According to an anonymous source within the Flyers organization, Frost will not be traded. The team considers Frost a vital part of their long-term plans as a result of his response to benching, which was to work hard and to be a good teammate.
In light of Tortorella's emphasis on the need for the team to create pressure on the ice, Frost will get another chance to prove himself as he slotted back into the lineup recently.
As long overdue as Frosty's reinstatement was, we hope he is up to the task. In the NHL, nothing is permanent, so hopefully he can regain his form, or else trade talks will resume.
