According to general manager Chuck Fletcher, the Philadelphia Flyers moved forward Patrick Brown from the injured reserve list and added him to the active roster on Thursday. Brown is anticipated to start in Boston on Thursday night.
After having back surgery in the off-season, Brown�has been skating since September.��Brown recorded nine points (four goals, five assists) in 44 games with the Philadelphia Flyers last season while also winning 58.5 percent of his faceoffs.
He will take the position of Kieffer Bellows, who has struggled for the Flyers in five games (zero points) after being acquired off waivers from the New York Islanders.
