The Flyers and the Oilers could help each other

Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, as good as they are, will never succeed to bring the club to the promised land if Ken Holland continues to build a lineup with no depth whatsoever.

In this case, the Flyers could help the Oilers. Of course, it's a big reach, but Philadelphia has the tools to fix some issues in Edmonton and vice-versa.

What is THE biggest problem in Edmonton? Probably the goaltending situation. Mike Smith is old. Mikko Koskinen is simply not good enough.

In Philadelphia, the biggest need is probably the #1 spot at centre. Do you see where we are heading?

Yeah, a deal involving Leon Draisaitl and Carter Hart could be imaginable if someday the Oilers wanted to trade the German forward. To make this work, the Flyers would probably have to add another big piece like Ivan Provorov.

Anyways, this scenario is very unlikely. But it's always fun to imagine what the Flyers will have to leave on the table in a world where Leon Draisaitl is on the trade block.
