Last night, the University of Denver and Bobby Brink won the National Championship in Boston by beating Minnesota State 5-1. The Flyers prospect didn't register a point in this game, but the most important was to go home with the trophy.
What's the next step? Well, Brink will now probably sign his ELC this upcoming week, and there's a real possibility that it will be as soon as tomorrow. He had a phenomenal year in the NCAA.
If he signs tomorrow, he could play his first game in the NHL on Tuesday against the Capitals.
This season, Brink has 57 points in 41 games with the University of Denver. He was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award.
