Last season, Tyson Foerster played eight games for the Philadelphia Flyers.

With a small simple size, he put up impressive defensive and offensive stats during that period.

Following that, he was sent back down to the AHL to play for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, where he recorded 48 points in 66 games.
While his time in Philadelphia was brief, his play earned him the respect of John Tortorella, explaining his great defensive numbers and 200-foot game style.
Having a breakout season is a major possibility for him if he continues to play as well as he did last season.
