As a result of Emil Andrae's successful training camp, the Philadelphia Flyers have welcomed him into the regular season lineup.

Nevertheless, Tortorella wasn't happy with how Andrae's development was going as the season progressed.
Cap Friendly says the Flyers have sent down Emil Andrae Could be a paper move and/or a change in the lineup is coming. Nothing official from the Flyers We shall see. #ShowYourFlyer

He had been rotating games with fellow youngster Egor Zamula and partnering with veteran Marc Staal.
Flyers head coach John Tortorella told Jeff Neiburg of the Philadelphia Inquirer that he wasn't sure if their current approach with defenseman Emil Andrae was the best for his development. It appears a decision has been made on that front as CapFriendly reports (Twitter link) that Philadelphia has assigned the young rearguard to AHL Lehigh Valley.

It appears that Lehigh Valley is the location for Andrae's development.
Since Andrae, who only accumulates 13 minutes of playing time in the NHL, is sent down, the Flyers will need to call up others... and they have sure done so.

"The Flyers have confirmed the move this morning, also announcing they've recalled defensemen Louis Belpedio and Victor Mete from Lehigh Valley. Recalling the two veterans will give them an extra defenseman on the active roster."
