The Philadelphia Flyers Make A Huge Announcement For the First Time In A Few Years

Wells Fargo Arena will host the Philadelphia Flyers' home opener on Tuesday, October 17th, at 6 p.m. A special Block Party will be held earlier in the day, however.

The team will host a block party from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. outside the East Food Hall on the 111th Side. Live music, games, food, face painting, food, and drink specials will all be available to fans.

On Monday, the team will hold a public practice at the Wells Fargo Arena at 11 a.m., which will be open to the public.

John Tortorella and the Flyers need to play their best hockey on Tuesday the 17th against the Vancouver Canucks. They won twice against the Edmonton Oilers last week.
