The Philadelphia Flyers May Want to Look at Who's on Waivers Today!
Every season there's always one or two NHL moves that make fans wonder why the team would do such a thing. One comes to mind with Ilya Samsonov not receiving a qualifying offer from the capitals.
That in turn allowed him to sign with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The other move that will be scrutinized and analyzed is the Predators decision to place Eeli Tolvanen on waivers this afternoon.
The 23-year-old Finnish forward, was drafted by the Predators in 2017 in the first round 30th choice overall.
This player will certainly garner attention from any NHL teams looking for offensive help. only being 23 years old and carrying a cap hit of $1.45 million through till next season he's also a pending RFA. I would certainly think the Flyers will have a look at him to see if he's worth claiming.
