Despite little discussion about his skills, Walker has the potential to strengthen Philly's defense.
Think Sean Walker is a little underrated. He's a really nice skater and can break pucks out well. Probably gets the last spot in the top 4 unless Zamula or Andrae take it from him.
My main point: He is better than Staal and Seeler
Must read on FlyersInsider
He missed 76 games this season but played in 2 playoff games for the Los Angeles Kings, making him an underrated defenseman.
Walker was undrafted but made his way into the NHL after college, showcasing both offensive and defensive abilities.
He is expected to compete for a top-four position in Philadelphia due to his excellent skating and passing skills. It's uncertain who will win the job, but if Zamula or Andrae don't, Walker is the likely candidate.
