The Sharks could lose Tomas Hertl this summer

However, the talks with the Sharks for an extension didn't began, and his recent declarations could indicate that he'll sign with another team this summer.

Basically, he said that he wanted a fair deal for both sides, but didn't want to make a fake promise by saying that he will sign with the Sharks.

"If we make a deal here, it will be fair for both sides. This is still my home and (I'm) fighting, (giving) everything I got for this team and we will see what happens in a couple of weeks," said Tomas Hertl.

If they don't reach an agreement before the trade deadline, should the Sharks consider to move him ? If there's an indication that he indeed will not continue his career in San Jose, they surely have to look at every options.
