The Vegas Golden Knights are fighting for their lives. With four games to go in the season, they are still trying to take part in the Playoffs. They are two points behind the Dallas Stars who clings in the last spot that gives access to the postseason.

But Vegas received a devastating news today, as starting goaltender Robin Lehner will get season ending surgery. The Golden Knights will now have Logan Thompson and Jiri Patera as their two goaltenders.
Peter DeBoer threw Lehner under the bus multiple times recently. Of course, the latter wasn't playing as well as expected, but you have to respect the fact that he did everything in his power to help his team through this difficult push to the playoffs.
We now understand a little bit more why he had difficulties recently...
This season, Lehner registered 23 wins, a 2.83 GAA and a .907 save percentage.
