Despite having a difficult year once again, Martin Jones has been pretty good lately, which is a good news with the trade deadline ahead of us.
The Oilers offered a 5th round pick earlier in the season for Jones, but Chuck Fletcher refused to trade him at that time, probably thinking that he could get a little bit more.
However, it's believed that the Flyers could get a 4th or 5th round pick for the goaltender. So, acquiring a 4th instead of a 5th is decent at best, but there's not really a difference.
This season, Martin Jones played 22 games for the Flyers. He has 7 wins, a 3.42 goals against average and a .900 save percentage.
