Much has been said, over the past season of the coming trade that will see the Flyers move off from centerman Kevin Hayes as his time with the Flyers has not worked out as well as they hoped.
Former general manager and president Chuck Fletcher felt that Hayes was the right centreman for the team he awarded him with a 7.1 million per season contract became too rich for the team, with his declining talent and his defensive liabilities that drove head coach John Tortorella mad.
Last night, it appeared that Hayes and Travis Sanheim would be joining the St Louis Blues. Part of the return was going to be defenseman Torey Krug. Everything appeared to go well however Krug decided not to waive his no-trade clause.

According to Brandon Sommermann, he feels that the Flyers will get a better deal and that this trade change will allow Cam York to become a regular and help his development.
With so much speculation swirling around this organization in which direction general manager Danny Briere will take them. Flyers fans will need to fasten their seat belts as this ride is about to get more wild with the draft only 72 hours away and having a possibility of moving up in the draft.
The Flyers are at 7th overall. The draft will begin on June 28th.
