This Philadelphia Flyers Prospect is Out of Rookie Camp With Injury
The Philadelphia Flyers are gearing up to prepare for another season of NHL Hockey as all teams have finished development camp for the upcoming season. With the Flyers' rookie camp currently taking place, rookies and prospects will get to participate in more scrimmages with other organizations, as they are getting more exposure.
Before pre-season hockey begins, the team will bring in their top prospects for rookie camp, so the players can hone their skills and learn from various coaches before returning to their junior teams or overseas to play hockey.
On the flip side, one player may not see the ice anytime soon as he is currently undergoing a medical evaluation by the team.

As an undrafted rookie entering the league in 2021, J.R. Avon was signed to a 3-year entry-level contract.
The Peterborough Petes player played an instrumental role in the team winning the OHL title and he will be unable to participate in rookie camp until he receives the green light to return to the ice.
It is still unclear what will happen to him as a result of the injury he has sustained to his back.
At the moment, nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
