This rumour on Johnny Gaudreau will please Flyers fans

Johnny Gaudreau is having a fantastic year.

He's the 4th best scorer in the league with 105 points in 75 games. Just awesome for him. This is simply the best season in his career, and it came at the best moment as he will be an unrestricted free agent by the end of the campaign.

Of course, a lot Flyers' fans would want Gaudreau to come back home in order to play in Philadelphia. There weren't any rumours going on around him lately. We don't even know if talks for an extension with the Flames.

But I think that what will follow will please you. According to Kevin Allen, a Detroit Red Wings beat writer, there has been talk in the NHL about Johnny Gaudreau playing in the Eastern Conference next season.

You can be sure about one thing : if Gaudreau is a free agent this summer, GM Chuck Fletcher will do everything in his power to sign him.
