The Stanley Cup Playoffs are a time of year that hockey fans eagerly anticipate. The thrill and excitement is always at an all-time high, but nothing compares to the sudden death overtime. It's a time when teams play until one scores and the other falls short, and it can be a nail-biting experience for fans and players alike.

On Thursday night into Friday morning, the Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes, battled it out in one of the longest overtimes in NHL history. The game went on for hours, and Flyers' Keith Jones had the call for this long and grueling game. It's ironic because he played in the 2000 game that went on for five overtimes, as Keith Primeau scored the winning goal. This got me thinking about the Top 10 longest OT's in history, and as it turns out, a new game has jumped into the Top 6. So, let's take a closer look at the list.

Coming in at No. 10 is a game from May 4, 2008, where the Dallas Stars faced off against the San Jose Sharks. The game lasted 129 minutes and 3 seconds, with Brenden Morrow scoring the winning goal in the fourth overtime.
