Flyers head coach John Tortorella carries a lot of pride on his shoulders when it comes to the game of hockey and his job. Aside from his antics sometimes with the media, the 64-year-old bleeds compassion for the game and aspires to compete every night.
With the Flyers currently in turmoil and the long process of rebuilding this team to where it needs to be, Tortorella mentioned that he receives loads of mail from fans expressing their want for the team to tank.

But with the upcoming NHL draft being so deep in talent, especially on the generational level, numerous fans feel that this might be their team's chance to land a player of Connor Bedard's calibre by losing all the games going forward.
Granted, finishing as low as possible in the standings does help your chances of landing the first overall choice but it's not a guarantee. With the season just about to finish, the Flyers are currently 7th from the bottom and have an outside chance of landing Connor Bedard.
