Flyers head coach John Tortorella has been asked about his thoughts about Travis Konecky who is sometimes suspected of defensive play. After the Flyers' 3-1 win against the Washington Capitals Torts weighed into his thoughts.
Konecny has been red hot as of late with 10 points in his last six games. He currently is the leading scorer and point-getter for the Flyers with 37 games played, 24 goals 22 assists for 46 points.
The 25-year-old right winger certainly doesn't have to make a case to his coach with his playmaking ability and his scoring touch. He's paid to score and create offense for a team that has been lacking offense for several months.

Flyers Nation would hope that current general manager Chuck Fletcher would recognize this and seek out a new first-line center to help take TK's game to the next level.
With TK's recent points streak, and superb goaltending the Flyers have been receiving, They have been on the move in the standings and are currently five points out of a wild-card spot with a game in hand on the New York Islanders.
Who would have thought a playoff spot was possible despite all the misery the Flyers went through earlier this season?
