Torts just sent a reassuring message for Carter Hart

In today's press conference, Tortorella and Fletcher both spoke about systems, accountability but more importantly, defense.
Carter Hart did not have a great year. And honestly, it's not all on him. He's playing behind big orange construction cones. Even prime Bobby Orr couldn't help his stats.
This is one of the exact reasons Fletcher went out and hired John Tortorella. He's a defensive minded coach.

Fletcher also noted earlier in the interview that they were looking for somebody that had demonstrated an ability to introduce structure, reduce goals against and improve the penalty kill. Make life easier for the goaltenders. Something Fletcher says Tortorella exemplifies.
The one guy who should be glad that the defense will be finally whipped in shape is Hart.
