Sean Walker, a defenseman for the Philadelphia Flyers, has recently been the subject of trade discussions.

However, Nick Seeler is the newest Philadelphia Flyer on trend, since Seeler returned to the NHL in 2021-2022.
In the early stages of his career, he served as a depth option for the Minnesota Wild. During the 2020-2021 season, Seeler would not touch NHL ice.
As a 7th defenseman in 2021-2022, the 34-year-old would find relevance in the Flyers lineup soon thereafter. In the past few years, he has found a place in the team's lineup as a depth defenseman.

Many NHL teams are interested in Seeler because he can provide offense as well as be a physical threat on the ice.
Is Seeler an option for the Vancouver Canucks considering Ian Cole's huge increase in minutes in Carson Soucy's absence, and they don't want to overwork prospect Akito Hirose?
In comparison with other defensemen on the market, such as Nikita Zadorov or Chris Tanev, Seeler is a UFA at the end of the season and a low-cost option for a rental.
Although his cost could increase, should his play yield more interest, as he has 5 assists in 21 games with the Flyers.
