Flyers fans and media everywhere waited the start of training camp for many reasons. Most important one of all, was to see just how hard Torts was going to work the players. Mentally and physically. Well, I think we found our answers.

A picture taken from Flyer's training camp has gone viral. Nasty Knuckles producer, editor, and social media man Travis Ballinghoff was on the scene at the right place at the right time. Snapping a picture of Torts standing over one of the exhausted Flyers players during camp. The picture has soared through the internet. Here is the initial tweet from Travis that lived "rent free" in everyone's mind.
I had the opportunity to chat with Travis briefly about the photo that was taken and how quick it started to go through the internet.

It's always a great feeling when your content does well number wise. My original post had a ton of traction, as well as some of the other photos I took and posted. It wasn't all perfect though, as some bigger accounts tweeted it out without credit, and some posted the photo and gave credit to some random person. That sucked. But it was an awesome photo, pretty funny honestly. Glad people enjoyed it. Glad I got the shot.

It only took a few hours before the epic photo was going to be available for fans to wear. A shirt has been created "Bring Back Hockey" with the picture on the front that is being sold to fans and all proceeds being donated to the Ed Snider Youth hockey foundation. Super cool thing that is being done with the picture, and for a great cause. The shirt will be available at 3pm EST today.
Travis had this to say about the shirt being created and the proceeds being donated.
As far as the shirt, I got talking to the people from «Bring Hockey Back» yesterday. Seem like awesome people. They loved the picture I took and have a connection to Snider Hockey. We got talking and had the idea of creating shirts. They asked me (basic copyright and photography laws) for permission and if I was on board. All the proceeds will be going to Snider Hockey. I'm a diehard Flyers fan who misses Ed Snider's ownership deeply. Anything I can do to support Snider Hockey is A+ in my book.

I had the chance to meet Travis at "Checking for Charity" a few months ago. He is a great guy and has some incredible content. Be sure to follow him on all his social media platforms and especially his YouTube channel. You can find all his social media links right here.
