WATCH : Big controversy yesterday between the Sabres and the Jets

Last night, the Winnipeg Jets won their game against the Buffalo Sabres in a shootout 4-3. Blake Wheeler scored the shootout game winning goal, but some fans claimed that his move was illegal.

After collecting the puck at center ice, the Jets captain gain some speed before braking suddenly. The debate is : did the puck continued to go forward or not?

In my opinion, Wheeler stopped the puck and went backwards before putting the puck in the net.
