The Russian invasion in Ukraine is a very hot topic. For the Washington Capitals, it's even more the case as they have four players from Russia, including Alex Ovechkin.

The Capitals captain was asked multiple times to comment on this matter as he's known to be a Vladimir Putin's supporter. With that being said, the organization recently took a controversial decision by banning Ukrainian and Russian signs in Capital One Arena.
