Anaheim Ducks star Trevor Zegras has come under fire after reports during the game this weekend between the Anaheim Ducks and Arizona Coyotes, where complete mayhem broke out and Coyotes Troy Stecher was trying to get at Zegras.
There were reports that Zegras crossed the line bringing up Stecher's deceased father during a scrum. Stecher at the time lost it and understandably so. However, it appears Zegras didn't mention Stecher's father. Hockey Insider Craig Morgan would confirm this.
I can confirm via the Coyotes that Anaheim forward Trevor Zegras did not say anything about Troy Stecher's father during their dust-up last night but, per a team source, he crossed the line with «some very inappropriate comments.» Stecher has declined comment on the topic.

Bruins Forward Brad Marchand didn't believe it and would tell Morgan to " shut hie pie hole."
But now Sportsnet Hockey Insider Elliotte Friedman would also confirm Zegras didn't mention Stecher's deceased father but instead made a inappropriate comment about Stecher's wife.
Must read on FlyersInsider
Still crossing the line, no one should bring up another player's wife and this goes way beyond gamesmanship. Zegras definitely owes Stecher an apology, I can't wait to see the next time these teams play, stay tuned..
