As teams continue to build their organizations through the draft, many names are chosen throughout the years. Some become household names that everyone will remember for generations, giving fans much to cheer about and possibly winning Stanley Cups in the process.
Others, on the other hand, are players that no one will remember and who will continue their careers in the minor leagues before aging out. The Flyers have several prospects in this category; however, one, in particular, has been playing in Russia for several years, and the Flyers still hold his rights.
Mikhail Vorobyev was the fourth-round draft pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. He currently holds a contract with the Flyers but is playing for SKA St. Petersburg in the KHL.

In his time with the KHL, he has scored 35 goals with 67 assists for 102 points in 230 games. The 26-year-old has played in both the KHL and NHL, with a total of 35 games, putting up five points.
Since the 2019-2020 season, he has not played in America, and yet the Flyers still hold his rights. When will the Flyers consider revisiting him in an attempt to sign him to a new deal? Do you remember this player?
These are all questions that could be answered, but for now, he will remain in Russia indefinitely.
