The World Juniors have finally started, and Switzerland opened things up with a 3-2 OT win against Finland.

The second game of the day is between Sweden and Austria. As I am writing this, it is all Sweden, as they lead 5-0 and are outshooting Austria 27-7 not even halfway through the game.
It was the opening puck drop that is getting the attention in this story, though, as it is one of the most awkward call outs I have ever seen prior to a puck drop. Just take a listen:
I think what makes it even more awkward is the fact that the winger fell down because of how long it took the referee to drop the puck.
Don't get me wrong, though, the babbling from the referee was pretty bad as well. It definitely didn't help that the Austria center said something to him while he was trying to talk.
