If NHL fans didn't know how good Carter Hart is, a recent update of the early rankings for the 2022-23 regular season was released by the league.
Hart sits at the third for Hart Trophy rankings and first for Vezina Trophy rankings.
Hart, 24, struggled last season, like much of the Flyers roster, so his statistics reflected that mightily, resulting in a 13-24-7 record through 44 games. He sported a .905 save percentage, along with a measly 3.14 goals/against average.
This season has been quite the opposite, however. And while it is very early in the year, Hart has looked much better. Through four games, Hart has managed a .949 save percentage and a 1.75 gaa.
